News Letter No. 12

Dear Friends,

I have great pleasure in publishing yet another Colourful edition of our News letter, mainly narrating the events of the 2nd Central Working Committee Meeting of our beloved AIASA held at Krushi Vignan Kendra, Old Goa on 7th August 2010. I am of the firm opinion that all the Delegates took part in this CWC Meeting have Hhcarried Sweet memories of the Cooperation, Support, Love, Affection and Hospitality showered by the hosts viz., Goa Circle Unit, Museum Unit, Horticultural Sub-Unit of Goa and Dr. Shivananda V Rao, Superintending Archaeologist of Goa Circle. I once again convey my heartfelt thanks to all my beloved members for taking part in large numbers and making the CWC Meeting a very very grand Success. I assure all my beloved members that I will try my level best to carry forward the torch of ASA in the right path and request your whole hearted co-operation to run the activities of this Four decade old Recognized Association judiciously.

INAUGURAL SESSION

As already Notified in the Notification, the Inaugural function of the 2nd CWC Meeting of AIASA was held at Krushi Vignan Kendra, Old Goa on 7th August 2010. Delegates in large numbers from length and breadth of our proud country have assembled at the spacious Training Hall of Krushi Vignana Kendra of Indian Council for Agricultural Research, Old Goa. Around 10.30 a.m. the Inaugural session started with Shri. Rajesh Johri, JCM Member of Vadodara Circle Unit with his pleasing voice welcoming the Dignitaries on to the Dias. Dr. Gautam Sengupta, Director General, A.S.I., New Delhi declared open the Session by lighting up of Symbolic auspicious decorated Lamp, followed by Saraswathi & Ganapathi Vandana in the melodious voice of Children of Sunshine Worldwide School, Old Goa amidst thunderous applause. Sri B.A. Ranganath, J.C.M. Member of Dharwad Circle Unit extended a hearty welcome to all the distinguished Dignitaries on the Dias and Delegates.


Shri. S.C. Sharma, President of ASA with his usual commanding voice, extended a hearty welcome, called upon the members to unite together and work sincerely so that the reputation of Archaeological Survey of India and ASA as well could be taken over to peak. He stressed the need of providing security to the Employees working in remote areas who are really rendering selfless service and sacrifice in protecting the Nationally Protected Monuments as also in implementation of AM & AS &R (A&V) Act 2010 more strictly and efficiently. He requested the Director General to provide well designed Uniforms to the Monument Attendants particularly the Staff working in New Delhi in the interest of upcoming Commonwealth Games in order to have separate identity of A.S.I. Mr Sharma made special appreciation of Sri B.A. Chandra Shekhar, Secy. General who is the One and Only Secretary General with his untiring efforts has succeeded in forming the Units right from Kashmir down to Kanyakumari and bringing each and every member under one fold thus proving Unity and Solidarity which is the First and Foremost motto of this Recognized Association. He also assured that all genuine problems of the members will be taken up in the company of Secretary General as early as possible in order to achieve better results in the interest of members. . Shri. S.C. Sharma conveyed special thanks to Dr. Shivananda V Rao, S.A. of Goa Circle and each and every member of host units for arranging this CWC Meeting in a grand and systematic manner.


Shri. K. Amarnath Ramakrishna, Dy. Superintending Archaeologist for Museums, Western Region, Goa in his address, stressed upon the dire necessity of reviving the reputation and glory of all the Museums under his jurisdiction, requested the Director General to arrange for filling up of all vacant Group C and D posts in order to have a smooth and systematic functioning of the Western Region. Shri. Ramakrishna appreciated the welfare activities carried out by the Association under the present administration of the Secretary General and President and requested to pursue the problems particularly the filling of existing and creation of additional posts so that many a developmental activities can be achieved by the Museum Branch. Mr Ramakrishna also assured to extend his fullest cooperation to this Association in future as well in taking up welfare activities of the Employees.

Dr. Shivananda V Rao, Superintending Archaeologist, Goa Circle while extending a warm welcome to the Dignitaries and large number of Delegates on behalf of Goa Circle requested the Delegates to visit the World Heritage Sites being maintained by A.S.I. Dr Rao expressed that he was immensely happy that a place like Goa has been selected to conduct the CWC Meeting of Service Association of a national stature. Dr Rao stressed the need of having an effective Association and assured that utmost cooperation will be extended to ASA in redressing genuine common problems. The Recruitment of One Foreman, One Monument Attendant and Absorption of Temporary Status Casual Labour in addition to shifting of Goa Circle Office from Panaji to Old Goa with all latest infrastructures by Dr Shivananda V Rao within a short span of time is remarkable. On this occasion, Dr Rao requested the Director General to provide additional Group C and D Staff so as to enable him to have a smooth administration as also to absorb the existing T.S.C. Labourers for strict and effective implementation of the Amended Act 2010. While appreciating the recent activities and achievements undertaken by the Secretary General and President of ASA, Dr Rao requested the Members to strengthen their hands and to be united so that much more welfare activities of the members can be expected. Dr Shivananda also requested the Director General to consider the Appointment of deserving cases on compassionate grounds, since many a deserving applications are pending at Directorate.


Shri B.A. Chandra Shekhar, Secretary General on behalf of CWC while welcoming the distinguished Dignitaries and Delegates across the country taking part in the Session narrated in detail as to why Goa has been selected for the 2nd CWC Meeting. Mr Chandra Shekhar put forth the pains and strains taken by him in the company of S.C. Sharma to form, revive, reactivate and strengthen the ASA Units right from Kashmir down to Kanyakumari which was absolutely necessary and detailed the cordial relationship he is maintaining with the Directorate and all Head of Offices of Circles/Branches which has yielded tangible results to its members and today he is very much proud to see such a huge gathering taking part in this CWC Meeting. He was of the firm opinion that by mutual discussions across the table any problem could be resolved. Mr Chandra Shekhar requested the members to maintain Unity and Solidarity at all times in order to get fruitful results and to solve the problems of members. Mr Chandra Shekhar with heavy heart put forth the pains and strains being taken by the Conservation Cadre in particular at sites as also the threats by the public in implementation of the amended A.M. & A S &.R. Act 2010. On behalf of all the Members, he requested Sri Sripad Naik, Hon’ble M.P. and Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner of Cabinet Rank of Govt. of Goa to take up the matter in the Parliament and revive the decision in this regard thereby a sight of relief could be made upon to the Head of Offices of Circles and Field Staff at the earliest which will be suitably acknowledged by this Association. Mr Chandra Shekhar on this occasion stressed the Director General to issue necessary orders of Opening hours of Archaeological Site Museums from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. instead of 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. as also to restore the Weekly Holiday as per the Agreement of JCM. The achievements and activities undertaken by Dr Goutam Sengupta in the capacity of Director General of ASI and the cooperation, support, help extended by him was highlighted by Sri Chandra Shekhar. On behalf of the entire gathering, he also assured that the Association will extend utmost cooperation and support to Director General in taking vital decisions in the interest of the Department and Employees as well and requested for his continued cooperation in future also.

Shri Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner for NRI Affairs, on behalf of Govt of Goa while extending a hearty welcome to the entire gathering stressed upon the dire necessity of protecting and preserving a vast number of Heritage Monuments in which some of the them have been declared World Heritage Sites. Shri Faleiro is of the opinion that the civil society should take active participation and assist A.S.I. in this gigantic task of preserving heritage Monuments for posterity. Mr Faleiro has drawn the attention wherein the Universal Peace Federation of India in the collaboration of A.S.I. along with 500 Students and 17 Young International Volunteers from Six Countries has undertaken a major cleanliness drive at Qutub Minar and Tughlakabad Fortress. Mr Faleiro added that these students pledged to protect these Archaeological Monuments by attending to general cleanliness and the A.S.I. will attend to the Technical and Chemical conservation to these Monuments. He called upon the members of ASA to unite together so that any problem could be resolved. He was very much happy to witness such a huge gathering taking part across the country and the meeting conducted in a highly systematic manner. Mr Faleiro had a special appreciation to Mr Chandra Shekhar, Secretary General and Sri S.C. Sharma, President of ASA for their active involvement in taking up the welfare measures of its members proving Unity and Solidarity.

Dr S.V. Venkateshaiah, Regional Director (South), A.S.I. Bangalore while addressing the entire gathering recollected his association with ASA for the past many years and appreciated the activities undertaken by the present Secretary General and President in forming ASA Units across the country. Dr Venkateshaiah recalled the yeomen service rendered by him in various capacities and the developmental activities undertaken by him at the famous Ajanta, Ellora caves, Tughlakabad Fort etc., in taking up major structural conservation of the Nationally Protected Monuments and maintaining the same to that of International Standard. The Golden Era of his career was at Dharwad Circle wherein he has undertaken not only the major structural Conservation, Preservation and Maintenance of the world famous Monuments of Badami and Pattadkal for which a new face lift has been provided by laying beautiful gardens and lawns in and around these Monuments which were highly appreciated by not only the tourists, but also High Dignitaries visited these sites. He also specifically mentioned that consequent to these developmental activities, huge number of Revenue has been generated in the recent years by the same amount of admission tickets which bespeaks his workmanship for which he was suitably rewarded by the Government of India thus carrying the Flag of A.S.I. to an esteem position. During his tenure at Bhopal Dr Venkateshaiah was once again honored by the Department of Tourism, Govt. of India for the rich maintenance of the Monuments of Mandu. Dr Venkateshaiah further urged that while demanding for the right, the employees of A.S.I. should feel their responsibilities and work hard to uphold the reputation of A.S.I. in high esteem in maintaining the rich cultural heritage of our proud country for posterity. Dr Venkateshaiah while conveying heartfelt wishes for the grand success of the function, expressed happiness over the Unity and Solidarity exhibited by the beloved members of ASA gathered here right from Kashmir down to Kanyakumari. The valuable suggestions and encouraging words expressed by Dr S.V. Venkateshaiah on this occasion were sincerely accepted by all the Delegates amidst thunderous applause.


Dr. N.P. Singh, Director, ICAR, Ela Goa while conveying immense thanks to the Secretary General for providing an opportunity to be the Guest of Honour of the Inaugural session wherein nearly 400 Delegates from the nook and corners of the country are taking part. Dr Singh was really surprised to see for the first time that a Director General of an Organization is actively taking part in the Meeting of the Association which bespeaks the relationship maintained. He had special appreciation towards the employees of ASI for their relentless efforts in maintaining the rich cultural heritage being witnessed and appreciated not only by the National but also the International tourists. Dr Singh while appreciating the Unity and Solidarity expressed by the members in taking part in this CWC Meeting requested to maintain the same spirit and enthusiasm thereby strengthening the hands of Secretary General and President in taking up developmental and welfare activities of its members. Inspired by the huge participation of Delegates, Dr Singh assured that a spacious conference hall with a capacity of nearly one thousand will be got constructed by their organization within a span of one year and requested the Secretary General to conduct the next All India Convention in the same venue which will be afforded free of cost which proves his royal gesture towards this Association.

Dr Goutam Sengupta, Director General, A.S.I., New Delhi in his inaugural address expressed sincere thanks to Secretary General and President for extending Invitation and giving an opportunity to inaugurate this Historic event of ASA at Goa as also to visit the famous world heritage sites maintained by this Century Old Department. Dr Sengupta urged the employees of A.S.I. and Members of the Association to work with much more zeal of spirit and enthusiasm in the larger interest of the Protection, Preservation, Conservation and Maintenance of our rich cultural heritage for posterity. Dr Sengupta is of the firm opinion that by mutual discussions across the table any problems of the employees could be resolved amicably. Referring to the words of Secretary General Dr Sengupta assured that utmost care will be taken by the Department to protect the interest of the Staff dedicating their service in various Sites in implementation of the recently amended Act 2010. On this occasion, he once again assured that all possible help, support and cooperation will be extended by him to the Head of Offices of Circles and Field Staff as per necessity in this regard. Dr Sengupta expressed that creation of new posts in various cadres particularly the Group C and D posts is under active consideration of the Government and necessary follow up action will be initiated by him in time to time and he was of the firm opinion that within a short period he will come out with fruitful results in this regard. Dr Sengupta assured that all genuine problems of the employees redressed by the Association will be discussed and solved amicably. He expressed utmost happiness to see such a huge gathering throughout the nooks and corners taking part in this C.W.C. Meeting and wished the function a grand grand success.


Shri. Sripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Member of Parliament in his presidential address, on behalf of Govt. of Goa and also from the constituency of North Goa which he represents extended a warm and hearty welcome to all the Delegates amidst thunderous applause. Shri. Naik expressed immense happiness towards the Conservation and Preservation of Rich Cultural Heritage undertaken by A.S.I in the World Heritage Sites of Goa. He also assured to extend continued cooperation to the Department in all respects. On this occasion, Shri. Sripad Yesso Naik requested Dr. Gautam Sengupta, Director General to consider the cases referred by him for appointment to the family members of deceased employees on Compassionate Grounds in respect of deserving cases. In replying to the remarks mentioned by Secretary General in his address, the practical difficulties being faced by the Employees and its members, the Hon’ble M.P. expressed deep concern towards the employees of A.S.I for the effective implementation of the amended AM & AS&R (A & V) Act 2010 assured the Secretary General that all possible help and cooperation will be extended to re-amend the act by discussing the issue in the Parliament at the earliest and a sight of relief will be provided to them to work in a healthy atmosphere. Shri Sripad Naik was very much delighted to see such a huge gathering taking part, the systematic and dignified way of arranging this Meeting, wholeheartedly appreciated the tremendous effort taken by the Secretary General and President in forming the units throughout the length and breadth of the country. Shri Sripad Naik conveyed his wholehearted wishes for the grand grand success of the CWC Meeting.

MERITORIOUS AWARD:

All the members are well aware, that ASA in every CWC Meetings is honouring the Children of our beloved members for securing highest marks in the 12th Standard/Intermediate by Awarding Cash Prizes. Accordingly, this time also applications were invited by the Secretary General for the academic years 2008-09 and 2009-10. In all, 14 Applications were received on the scheduled date. Since majority of the Children have secured highest marks, the C.W.C. has taken a decision to distribute Cash Awards for the academic years separately on the basis of Merit in order to encourage the Children. A detailed list of percentage achieved, Cash Awards presented is furnished herewith for kind information of the members.

In order to encourage the Members for excellence performance of their Children, the C.W.C. Members of Bhopal Circle Unit have put up a colourful Flex Banner at the venue specially prepared for the purpose showing the chart of the Recipients of Awards for the Excellence. ASA hereby convey hearty congratulations and Best of Luck to all the recipients.


On this august occasion, On behalf of C.W.C., Dignitaries were honoured by putting up Colourful Shawl, Garland and Mementoes as a token of honour.


On this august occasion, on behalf of the C.W.C, Dr. Gautam Sengupta, Director General, Shri. Sripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble M.P., and Sri Eduardo Faleiro, Commissioner of NRI Affairs, honoured by presenting Medal with Colourful Certificates to the Students of Sunshine Worldwide School of Goa for their melodious Invocation. The Officers of A.S.I. took part in this CWC Meeting were also honoured on this occasion.


Sri Sriguru Bagi, Unit Secretary, Museum Unit, Goa proposed vote of thanks to the Dignitaries, Delegates and all those personalities for making the function a grand grand success. The entire proceedings were ably and aptly compeered by Sri Rajesh Johri, J.C.M. Member, Vadodara Circle Unit in a befitting manner. On this occasion, Dr S.K. Joshi, Retd., A.S.A. Dharwad, Many Officers of A.S.I., Members of ASA and well wishers across the country have sent Messages and Greetings wishing the function a grand grand success. The entire proceedings of the inaugural session concluded with National Anthem.


The Dignitaries and Delegates were very much delighted by Delicious and Nutritious Lunch prepared and served by Sri Girish Patil and his team from Dharwad.

Proceedings of the Afternoon Session

The Second Session of the CWC Meeting begun at 3.30 P.M. under the Chairmanship of Sri S.C. Sharma, President, ASA. Sri Rajinder Kumar, Section Officer (Admn.II), New Delhi was present in the session. Sri B.A. Chandra Shekhar, Secretary General presented before the C.W.C. a detailed Report containing the activities and achievements undertaken by him from June 2009 to July 2010 along with the Audited Statement of Accounts and read out for the kind information of beloved members. While appreciating the commendable achievements, hard work and dedication of the Secretary General and President, the entire house in one voice unanimously approved the Secretary General’s Report and Audited Statement of Accounts amidst thunderous applause. A copy of the Secretary General Report is enclosed herewith for kind information who could not take part in the CWC Meeting. Secretary General and President while acknowledging sincere thanks to the entire gathering for the commendable support and cooperation extended to them, assured to work with much more zeal of spirit and enthusiasm in future also and carry forward the Torch of ASA to its esteem position. CWC IN SESSION OF GOA DEMANDS SPEEDY ACTION TO AMEND RECRUITMENT RULES FOR FILLING UP THE POST OF MONUMENT ATTENDANTS. THE SESSION IN ONE VOICE ALSO REQUESTS FOR ABSORPTION OF TEMPORARY STATUS CASUAL LABOURERS ON TIME BOUND AS PER THE RATIO LAID DOWN BY THE DOPT.

THE SESSION ALSO DEMANDS FOR CIRCULATION OF UPDATED SENIORITY LIST IN MANY A CADRES PENDING FOR PAST SEVERAL YEARS.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION IN ONE VOICE DEMANDS ISSUE OF LETTERS TO CONCERNED HEAD OF OFFICES OF CIRCLES PERMITTING TO FILL UP ALL EXISTING VACANT POSTS IN CONSERVATION CADRES ON TOP PRIORITY SINCE THE SUPERINTENDING ARCHAEOLOGISTS OF CIRCLES ARE FACING DIFFICULTIES AND HARDSHIP IN ACHIEVING TARGET FIXED BY THE DIRECTORATE DUE TO NON FILLING UP OF VACANT POSTS IN THIS CADRE.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION AT GOA DEMANDS POSTING OF ASSISTANT ARCHAEOLOGIST TO HAZARDUARI PALACE MUSEUM, MURSHIDABAD (WEST BENGAL) ON TOP PRIORITY AS PER THE AGREEMENT MADE IN THE JCM FOR ATTENDING TO OPENING AND CLOSING OF MUSEUM, MONITORING THE DUTIES OF THE GALLELRY STAFF, STRICT VIGIL OF THE DISPLAYED INNUMERABLE PRECIOUS ANTIQUITIES, DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE OF MUSEUM AS ALSO FOR EFFECTIVE EXECUTION OF APPROVED WORKS IN TIME TO TIME SINCE THIS IS THE BIGGEST MUSEUM BEING MAINTAINED BY ASI.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION AT GOA DEMANDS CONDUCT OF TYPING TEST FOR THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES APPEARED FOR THE WRITTEN COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION HELD ON 12 JUNE 2010 AT NEW DELHI WITHOUT ANY FURTHER LOSS OF TIME SO AS TO GET THE RESULTS DECLARED AND GET THEIR PROMOTIONS AS PER THE AGREEMENT OF JCM.

CWC OF ASA IN ONE VOICE STRONGLY PROTESTS AND CONDEMNS THE VINDICTIVE AND CALLOUS ATTITUDE ADOPTED BY SHRI D.K. SINGH, ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDING ARCHAEOLOGIST FOR MUSEUMS, GWALIOR MUSEUM TOWARDS THE EMPLOYEES OF GWALIOR CIRCLE. THE SESSION DIRECTED THE PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY GENERAL TO TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH THE AUTHORITIES CONCERNED TO TAKE STERN ACTION AGAINST THE SAID OFFICER WITHIN ONE MONTH IN THE INTEREST OF JUSTICE AND EQUITY FAILING WHICH IT WAS ALSO DECIDED TO STAGE DHARNA TO GET THEIR DEMANDS FULFILLED FOR SMOOTH, AMICABLE AND PEACEFUL WORKING ATMOSPHERE AT GWALIOR.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION AT GOA OBSERVED THE PROGRESS ACHIEVED THROUGH OFFICE COUNCIL MEETINGS CONVENED BY SOME OF THE HEAD OF OFFICES AND RECORDED ITS UNHAPPINESS. ASA DEMANDS DIRECTORATE TO ISSUE CIRCULAR DIRECTING THE HEAD OF OFFICES OF CIRCLES/BRANCHES TO CONVENE OFFICE COUNCIL MEETINGS ONCE IN THREE MONTHS COMPULSORILY AS PER THE DIRECTIONS OF THE DOPT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF MEMBERS AT UNIT LEVELS AND COPIES OF THE MINUTES SENT TO DIRECTOR GENERAL AND SECRETARY GENERAL.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION AT GOA RECORDS THANKS AND APPRECIATION TO THE DIRECTOR GENERAL, ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR GENERAL (ADMN), JOINT DIRECTOR GENERAL (ADMN) AND JOINT DIRECTOR (ACCOUNTS) FOR EXTENDING FULLEST COOPERATION BY CONVENING TIMELY J.C.M. MEETINGS AND MONTHLY MEETINGS OF THE SIXTH PAY ANOMALY COMMITTEE CONSTITUTED BY THE DEPARTMENT AND EXPECTS THE SAME COOPERATION IN FUTURE ALSO.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION AT GOA APPRECIATES THE DIRECTORATE FOR CONSIDERING AND ISSUING ORDERS FOR 40 CASES OF COMPASSIONATE APPOINTMENTS. ASA ALSO DEMANDS CONSIDERATION OF ALL APPLICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS ON COMPASSIONATE GROUNDS SINCE MAJORITY OF THE DESERVING CASES WERE RETURNED AS UNFIT THEREBY THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE DECEASED EMPLOYEES ARE PUT INTO LOT OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.AND IN MANY A CASES THE FAMILY ARE THROWN TO STREETS DUE TO NON CONSIDERATION OF THEIR CASES IN SPITE OF FINANCIAL LIABILITIES.

CWC OF ASA IN SESSION AT GOA EXPRESSED IN ONE VOICE ITS HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL THE HEAD OF OFFICES OF CIRCLES AND BRANCHES FOR THEIR UNSTINTED SUPPORT, COOPERATION AND HELP RENDERED TO ALL OUR CWC/UWC MEMBERS UNDER THEIR JURISDICTION FOR THE AMICABLE AND SMOOTH CONDUCT OF WELFARE ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY THIS RECOGNIZED ASSOCIATION. ASA EXPECTS THE SAME COOPERATION AND SUPPORT IN FUTURE ALSO.

The house also discussed about the venues for the 26th All India Convention. Many units like Aurangabad, Combined Unit, Saranath, Combined Unit, Murshidabad, Circle and Science Branch Unit, Hyderabad, Circle Units, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar and Lucknow have come forward to host the Next AIC. The house requested the Secretary General to take suitable decision in this regard at the appropriate time.

EXCELLENT CULTURAL PROGRAMME


On this august occasion, to have a very good entertainment to our Delegates, Cultural Programme in the form of Live Singing and Orchestra was arranged. The Famous Singers and Musicians of Goa, Miss Simmi Rudresh Fondekar, S/Shri Kasim Mulla, Iqbal Shaikh and Bharat Raj of A.S.I. under the Banner of Famous Tarana Entertainment Unlimited, Goa with their Thrilling and Marvelous singing in various languages and melodious music performance enlightened all our Delegates for nearly Three hours. It is only due to the keen interest taken by Sri S.V. Rajendiran, ASAE, Goa Circle, Sri Sriguru Bagi and Bharat Raj, all our Delegates took part in the Meeting were able to witness such a grand cultural programme which was highly appreciated by one and all. On behalf of CWC and on my own behalf, I take this opportunity to convey my profound thanks to the entire team.


The Unit Secretaries who have not convened the General Body Meeting so far are hereby informed to conduct the same at the earliest and communicate the Proceedings to the Secretary General for according approval.


Before concluding, I express my Sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr Shivananda V Rao, Superintending Archaeologist, A.S.I. Goa Circle, Shri K.Amarnath Ramakrishna, Dy.S.A. Museum Branch, Western Region, Goa, Sri Rajendiran, A.S.A.E., Goa Circle for their wholehearted Cooperation, Support and Hospitality extended by them in smooth conduct of the 2nd CWC Meeting at Goa. I also take this opportunity to convey my profound thanks to all the Members of Goa Circle, Museum and Horticulture Branch in general and S/Shri Bhim Sain, V. Ramesh, B.A. Ranganath, G. Srinivasa Rao, V.R. Nagaraju, K.S. Subramanya, Ajay Kumar, C.A., Delhi Circle, H.S. Harisha, H.S. Krishnamurthy, Venugopal. S., A.B.P. Verma, P.V.N.C.M. Eshwar, Sriguru Bagi, Abhijit Ambekar, Vinay Kumar, Maria G Velho, Neelasha Dessai, Parasuram Kadam, Bharat Raj in particular for their untiring and tremendous efforts in organizing this 2nd CWC in a grand and befitting manner. The yeomen service, dedication and untiring efforts of Sri Pundalik and Vishwa will always be lingering in the minds of all our Delegates in making this function a grand grand success.
