At the outset, on behalf of all the beloved members of this Association and on my own behalf, I take this opportunity to express hearty congratulations on your assuming the prestigious post of Director General of Archaeological Survey of India familiarly known for better maintenance of our rich cultural heritage of our proud country. I also wish to convey my heartfelt greetings with the firm belief that Archaeological Survey of India will achieve laurels under your benign administration and able guidance.
The All India Archaeological Service Association is the One and Only Recognized four decade old Association in Archaeological Survey of India looking after the welfare measures and taking care to improve the service conditions of all its non-gazetted employees comprising of about 169 cadres enrolled as members of this Association right from Kashmir down to Kanyakumari. This Association is getting utmost cooperation from the Directorate. I am of the firm belief that the same cooperation is extended from your end in future also. I am sure that Archaeological Survey of India will achieve tangible results under your able administration. I will be personally meeting you along with Sri S.C. Sharma, President of this Association during second week of February 2010.
